Giyu Tomioka is the Water Hashira. He is one of the first Demon Slayers Tanjiro encounters.
Giyu uses Water Breathing and has also developed his own unique technique, the Eleventh Form: Dead Calm.
Giyu recognizes Tanjiro and Nezuko's unusual situation and helps set Tanjiro on his path as a Demon Slayer.
